Office of Public Affairs

The Office of Public Affairs serves as the primary communications and external relations office of the Native Village of Eyak.

Our role is to ensure Tribal members are informed, engaged, and connecred to the work of their Tribal government, while also representing NVE clearly and consistently to regional, state, federal, and intertribal partners.

Public Affairs works at the intersection of community communication, government relations, and strategic outreach.

What We Do

The Office of Public Affairs Supports the Tribe by:

Sharing Tribal news, announcements, and government updates

Coordinating communications for Tribal programs, events, and initiatives

Supporting major projects, such as shepard point, through clear public messaging and stakeholder coordination

Managing media relations and public information requests

Working with leadership and departments to strengthen transparency and alignment

Supporting intertribal, regional, and federal engagement efforts
