About the Cordova Times

Established in 1914, The Cordova Times is proud to be Prince William Sound’s oldest newspaper. Tribally owned since April 2016, the Native Village of Eyak publishes The Cordova Times print edition weekly on Fridays and serves digital readers with news seven days a week.
Based in the coastal fishing community of Cordova, Alaska, our news spans thousands of miles, reaching nearly every village across the state. Our readers enjoy a balance of statewide and local news, breaking news, in-depth fisheries reports, arts and festivals, and small-town features that speak to the heart.
